Gissel Jno-Charles – RN, Administrator

“The most powerful force in the world that can change the lives of millions of people is COMPASSION”

Gissel (Gee) has a special love for seniors. Her compassion towards seniors started at an early age when she helped care for her vision impaired Grandmother. She spent the last 26 years as a Registered Nurse providing exceptional care, helping patients and families achieve their best health and happiness.

Gee developed a broad clinical experience and knowledge from working at institutions in the United States and overseas. Her specialties include Pediatrics, Rehabilitation, Cardiac PCU, Med-Surg, and Medical Oncology. Gee always desired to care for patients holistically.

In 2022, she left Lee Health to start Castle Comfort Homecare with her husband Mack. Their vision is helping others achieve a happier and healthier life in the Comfort of their Castle. Gee performs thorough Home Assessments to customize a Care Plan for each individual client. She carefully selects Caregivers and accompanies them on their first shift to ensure Client/Caregiver synergy.

Gee grew up in Dominica, a beautiful Caribbean Island. She is friendly and loves making others happy. Her joy is contagious and is rooted in her faith in God. When Gee is not working, she enjoys singing, painting, fishing, crocheting, providing complementary Music Therapy to clients and volunteering.
